Conservative groups talk a good game about government overreach and about being on the side of the people. What Governor Ricketts did when he used the authority of his office as governor (and his official .gov website!) to proclaim a person guilty (complete with chastisements and insults) was most definitely an example of government overreach.
Will the NEGOP and conservative groups across the state of Nebraska call upon Pillen NOT to reward Ricketts abuse of governmental authority and to appoint someone else to Sasse's seat in the U.S Senate? Watch what they do. Any who are on the side of the people will speak out against such corruption and demand accountability. There is no excuse not to.
