I think a lot of people are still afraid to leave the comfort of what they know--even when it is destructive.
I also think we are in a spiritual battle, and that we are being tested. My belief is that we need to move towards being better than we have been in the past, even if we don't quite know where that means we will end up.
Sometimes you just have to follow God's guidance to get the hell out of the bad place you are in, and trust that God will handle all the rest.
Don't look back! Such action requires courage and strong faith.
